What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to B Bops' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is responsible for covering all compensation, travel, lodging, and other expenses incurred while attending the initial training course. This training is mandatory for the franchisee or their proposed manager before the B Bops restaurant opens. The B Bops franchise provides the course and all necessary materials for up to two people as part of the initial franchise fee.

This means that while the training itself is included in the initial franchise fee, franchisees must budget for the additional costs of attending the training program. These costs can include wages or salary for the trainee, transportation to and from the training location, accommodation during the training period, and any other incidental expenses.

If B Bops determines that the franchisee's proposed manager is not qualified during the training, the franchisee can select a substitute manager to attend the course. B Bops may also extend the training period if they deem additional training necessary. The franchisee remains responsible for all associated expenses, even in these situations.
