What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to B Bops's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to maintain certain types of insurance coverage. Specifically, B Bops franchisees must secure property insurance in an amount equivalent to the full replacement value of the premises and equipment. They also need to have liability insurance with a minimum coverage of $2,000,000.
In addition to property and liability insurance, B Bops franchisees are obligated to maintain workers' compensation insurance. The specific requirements for workers' compensation coverage are determined by the laws of the jurisdiction where the franchise is located. This means the amount and terms of the coverage will vary depending on state and local regulations.
This requirement ensures that B Bops franchisees are protected against potential financial losses due to property damage, liability claims, and employee injuries. Franchisees should consult with an insurance professional to determine the appropriate levels of coverage to meet both the franchisor's requirements and the legal requirements of their specific location. Failing to maintain adequate insurance coverage could result in a breach of the franchise agreement and potential legal and financial repercussions.
