- DEVELOPMENT OF FRANCHISE PREMISES. Franchisee agrees to secure, at its sole expense, a site for the Franchise Premises which shall be approved in writing by Company as being suitable for use as a B-Bop's Restaurant. Using the construction plans and specifications
Franchisee performs such remodeling, repairs and/or redecoration as Company may reasonably require to cause the Franchise Premises and the equipment, fixtures, furniture, signs and other improvements to conform with the specifications being used for new B-Bop's Restaurants being franchised on the date of renewal;

Franchisee furnishes Company with a copy of the lease for the Franchise Premises indicating possession is assured for the renewal term, or if Franchisee is unable to maintain possession of the Franchise Premises or if the parties agree that the Franchise should be relocated, Franchisee secures an alternative site that is approved by Company with the understanding that such site will be developed in accordance with Company's then current standards and specifications.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to B Bops's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is obligated to secure a site for the Franchise Premises at their own expense. This site must be approved in writing by B Bops as suitable for a B Bops Restaurant.
Following site approval, the franchisee is required to use B Bops's construction plans and specifications to develop the Franchise Premises. This ensures that each B Bops location adheres to the brand's standards for appearance and functionality.
During a renewal, the franchisee must remodel, repair, or redecorate as reasonably required by B Bops to ensure the Franchise Premises, equipment, fixtures, furniture, signs, and other improvements conform to the specifications used for new B Bops Restaurants being franchised at the time of renewal. If the franchisee is unable to maintain possession of the Franchise Premises or the parties agree to relocate, the franchisee must secure an alternative site approved by B Bops and develop it according to B Bops's current standards and specifications.
