What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to B Bops's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must spend at least 2% of their gross sales each calendar quarter on independent advertising. This advertising is in addition to the advertising fees paid directly to B Bops.
A B Bops franchisee can meet this independent advertising requirement in one of two ways. First, they can implement advertising and promotional campaigns provided by B Bops. Alternatively, a franchisee can create and implement their own advertising or promotional campaigns.
However, if a franchisee chooses to create their own advertising, they must submit it to B Bops for written approval before using it. B Bops also reserves the right to request a report from the franchisee detailing all independent advertising expenditures, along with supporting invoices, at any time.
