What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 B Bops Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are generally restricted to serving only items on the company's standard menu. The FDD specifies that franchisees must sell each item on the standard B Bops menu and prepare, package, and sell these items according to the company's standard operating procedures, as detailed in the operations manual.
This restriction ensures uniformity across all B Bops locations, maintaining brand consistency in the products offered. However, franchisees can request written consent from B Bops to sell products or services not included in the Licensed System.
This policy has implications for a franchisee's ability to innovate or cater to local preferences without prior approval. It also means B Bops can add or substitute new items to the Licensed System, requiring franchisees to purchase these items according to the company's specifications, potentially through approved or designated suppliers.
