What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 B Bops Franchise Disclosure Document, B Bops, with advertising fees collected from franchisees, will develop and provide advertising, promotional, and public relations campaigns to promote the Licensed System and Licensed Marks. However, the franchisee is responsible for implementing these campaigns at their own expense, as detailed in Section 10(D) of the franchise agreement.
This means that while B Bops creates the advertising materials and strategies, the franchisee must pay for the actual execution of these campaigns. This could include costs related to placing advertisements in local media, printing promotional materials, or any other expenses associated with getting the advertising in front of potential customers.
However, B Bops is not obligated to develop or provide advertising campaigns if they have elected to waive the advertising fee for the franchisee. Franchisees should clarify with B Bops what the typical costs are for implementing advertising campaigns and what options they have for local marketing and advertising to ensure they can effectively promote their B Bops restaurant.
