What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to B Bops's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to reimburse B Bops for certain expenses incurred when B Bops provides assistance. Specifically, this reimbursement covers the costs of round-trip airline tickets, if applicable, and hotel expenses for B Bops's personnel. This applies both during the pre-opening phase, for a period of three to five days, and immediately following the opening of the franchise, for a period of four to six days. The exact number of days for assistance is determined by B Bops. During these times, between one and four B Bops representatives will be present at the franchise location to assist in operations and preparation. The franchisee or their manager must also be present during these assistance periods.
This requirement means that franchisees need to budget not only for the initial franchise fee, construction, and operational costs but also for these additional reimbursement expenses. The costs can vary depending on the distance of the franchise location from B Bops's base of operations and the number of personnel required for assistance. These costs can impact the franchisee's initial investment and ongoing operational budget.
It is important for prospective franchisees to clarify with B Bops the anticipated number of personnel, the duration of their stay, and estimated travel and lodging costs to accurately forecast these expenses. Understanding these potential costs upfront will help in better financial planning and ensure that there are no unexpected financial burdens during the critical opening phases of the franchise.
