What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to B Bops's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is responsible for covering all travel-related expenses for themselves and their employees while attending the initial training course. The B Bops franchise agreement stipulates that while the training course itself and the necessary materials for up to two people are included as part of the initial franchise fee, the franchisee must pay for compensation, travel, lodging, and other expenses incurred during the training.

This means that a prospective B Bops franchisee needs to factor in the costs of transportation, accommodation, meals, and wages for themselves or their manager when budgeting for the initial setup of the franchise. These costs can vary significantly depending on the location of the training and the duration of the course.

Furthermore, if B Bops determines that the franchisee's initial manager is unqualified during the training, the franchisee will also bear the costs for a substitute manager to attend the course. This could potentially double the initial training expenses, so franchisees should carefully consider the qualifications of their initial manager to mitigate this risk.
