What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to B Bops's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee gains the right to use and display the Licensed Marks upon the execution of a franchise agreement with B Bops. This agreement grants the franchisee the right to own and operate a B Bops franchise at a specific location.

This means that until the franchise agreement is signed, even if a prospective franchisee has a development agreement, they cannot use B Bops's trademarks or logos. The right to use these marks is specifically tied to the finalized franchise agreement for a particular location.

B Bops also requires franchisees to adhere to the policies outlined in the Operations Manual regarding the use and display of the Licensed Marks. Franchisees are prohibited from using any other trademark or trade name in connection with the franchise unless B Bops provides written approval. Additionally, the Licensed Marks can only be displayed at the franchise premises or in connection with the operation of the franchise. If the franchisee is an entity, such as a corporation or LLC, they cannot use "B-Bop's" in their name. B Bops retains the right to adopt additional marks and symbols for use within the Licensed System and can require franchisees to discontinue or modify the use of any Licensed Marks with ninety days' written notice.

In the event the Franchise Agreement is terminated for any reason whatsoever or expires without renewal, B Bops has the right to prohibit the franchisee from further use or display of the Licensed Marks.
