What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to B Bops's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the estimated initial investment figures are based on the company's affiliate's experience. Specifically, the estimates were prepared by B Bops in reliance on the experience of its affiliate, B-Bop's, in establishing and operating ten B-Bop's restaurants. These restaurants are located in the Des Moines, Iowa area.
This means that the costs provided in Item 7 of the FDD, such as the construction costs ranging from $700,000 to $1,800,000 and equipment and fixtures ranging from $210,000 to $270,000, are derived from the actual expenses incurred while setting up and running these existing locations. A prospective franchisee should understand that these figures serve as a baseline, but their actual costs may vary significantly depending on factors specific to their location, such as real estate prices, local labor costs, and specific building requirements.
B Bops advises that potential franchisees carefully review these figures with a business advisor before making any decision to purchase a franchise. The FDD also notes that neither B Bops nor its affiliates offer financing for the initial investment. Franchisees should be aware that the availability and terms of financing will depend on factors such as their credit history, creditworthiness, and available collateral.
