What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 B Bops Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to reimburse B Bops for specific expenses related to pre-opening assistance. B Bops will provide between one and four people to assist the franchisee in preparing for the opening of the franchise for a period of three to five days. During this time, the franchisee or their manager must be present at the franchise premises.

The franchisee is responsible for covering the costs of round-trip airline tickets, if applicable, and hotel expenses for the B Bops personnel providing the pre-opening assistance. This means that franchisees need to budget for these travel and lodging costs in addition to the other expenses associated with opening a B Bops restaurant.

This reimbursement requirement is a fairly standard practice in the franchise industry, as it ensures that the franchisee bears the direct costs associated with the on-site support provided by the franchisor during the critical pre-opening phase. Franchisees should factor in these potential costs when evaluating the overall investment required to start a B Bops franchise.
