What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to B Bops's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee is required to reimburse the company for specific expenses related to post-opening assistance. For a period of four to six days immediately following the franchise opening, B Bops will provide between one and four people to assist in the operation. The exact number of days is determined by B Bops. During this time, the franchisee or their manager must be present at the franchise premises.

The franchisee is responsible for covering the cost of round-trip airline tickets, if applicable, and hotel expenses for the B Bops personnel providing the assistance. This means that in addition to the initial franchise fees and ongoing royalties, a franchisee must also budget for these potential travel and lodging costs.

This reimbursement requirement is fairly standard in the franchise industry, as it ensures that the franchisee bears the direct costs associated with on-site support. It is important for prospective B Bops franchisees to factor in these potential expenses when projecting their initial investment and operating costs.
