What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 B Bops Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to reimburse B Bops for specific expenses related to the opening assistance provided by the company. B Bops will provide between one and four people to assist the franchisee in preparing for the opening of the franchise for a period of three to five days before opening, and four to six days after opening. The exact number of days is determined by B Bops.
Specifically, if B Bops chooses to have its personnel travel by air to the franchise location, the franchisee must reimburse B Bops for the round trip airline expenses. Additionally, the franchisee is responsible for reimbursing B Bops for the hotel expenses incurred by the company for the people provided.
All other travel expenses for the people provided by B Bops to assist the franchisee are the obligation of B Bops. This means franchisees should carefully budget for potential airfare and hotel costs when planning their restaurant opening, as these reimbursements to B Bops are in addition to other startup costs.
