What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to B Bops's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the company is responsible for developing advertising campaigns. B Bops will use the advertising fees collected from franchisees to create and provide advertising, promotional, and public relations campaigns. These campaigns are designed to promote the B Bops Licensed System and Licensed Marks.
B Bops retains sole discretion over all decisions regarding the content, concepts, materials, and media used in these advertising campaigns. This means franchisees have limited input on the creative direction or specific strategies employed in the advertising. However, franchisees are responsible for implementing these campaigns at their own expense, according to Section 10(D) of the franchise agreement.
B Bops is not obligated to develop or provide advertising campaigns if it has elected to waive the advertising fee for a franchisee. This could occur under specific circumstances determined by B Bops. As a prospective franchisee, it is important to understand the conditions under which advertising fees might be waived and how that would impact the support received for local marketing efforts.
