B_Bops Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
- Upon approval of a site, the Company is required by the Development Agreement to grant you the right to establish and operate a Franchise at such site, provided that you are in compliance with the terms of the Development Agreement and the terms of all franchise agreements between the parties. (Section 6 of the Development Agreement) The standard form of franchise agreement then being used by the Company to grant new Franchises will be forwarded to you and you will have a period of fifteen (15) days in which to execute such franchise agreement and return it, together with payment of the initial franchise fee, to the Company. Upon execution of the then current franchise agreement, you will be entitled to receive the Company's initial and continuing assistance in establishing and operating the Franchise. The assistance to be provided by the Company under the current Franchise Agreement is discussed above.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to B Bops's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, after the approval of a site, a franchisee's entitlement to initial and continuing assistance in establishing and operating the franchise is contingent upon compliance with the terms of the Development Agreement and all franchise agreements between the parties. Specifically, B Bops requires the franchisee to execute the then-current franchise agreement and return it within fifteen (15) days, along with payment of the initial franchise fee.
This means that a prospective B Bops franchisee must not only have an approved site but also promptly finalize the franchise agreement and pay the initial franchise fee to secure the franchisor's support. The initial and continuing assistance provided by B Bops is detailed within the current Franchise Agreement, which the franchisee will receive upon site approval.
This condition is standard in franchising, ensuring that both parties are committed to the venture before the franchisor invests significant resources in training and support. Failing to meet these obligations could delay or jeopardize the franchisee's ability to receive the necessary assistance to launch and maintain their B Bops restaurant.
