What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to B Bops's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial step to be considered for purchasing restaurant rights involves submitting an application to B Bops Franchising Corp. The applicant indicates on the application whether they are seeking rights to own and operate a single B Bops Restaurant within a specific trade area or to develop multiple B Bops Restaurants exclusively within a defined trade area.
B Bops retains the discretion to either grant or deny the applicant these rights. The Application Agreement explicitly states that nothing within the agreement obligates B Bops to grant the applicant the requested rights. Both B Bops and the applicant have the right to terminate the agreement at any time by providing written notice to the other party.
Prior to informing an applicant of its decision, B Bops agrees not to negotiate with any third party regarding the potential purchase of a B Bops Restaurant in the same trade area. The term "negotiate" includes executing an Application Agreement, accepting a deposit, or providing assistance or information outlined in the agreement to any third party. However, B Bops is allowed to provide general information packages or Franchise Offering Circulars to other interested parties.
