What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to B Bops's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, before opening a franchise, the franchisee or their proposed manager must attend and complete a training course to the satisfaction of B Bops. This training course is conducted by B Bops at its principal office and includes on-site instruction regarding standard management procedures for operating a B Bops Restaurant.
The cost of the course and all necessary materials for up to two people are included in the initial franchise fee. However, the franchisee is responsible for covering all compensation, travel, lodging, and other expenses incurred by themselves or their employees while attending the training.
If B Bops determines during the training course that the franchisee's proposed manager is not qualified, the franchisee must select and enroll a substitute manager. B Bops may also extend the training period for the franchisee or their manager if they deem additional training necessary for satisfactory completion of the course. Furthermore, if the franchisee appoints a manager, that manager must complete the training course to the satisfaction of B Bops, and B Bops has the right to approve the qualifications of such manager.
