What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to B Bops's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if the company determines during the training course that a franchisee's proposed manager is not qualified to manage a B-Bop's Restaurant, B Bops will notify the franchisee. Following this notification, the franchisee has the option to select and enroll a substitute manager in the training course.

This process ensures that each B Bops franchise is managed by someone deemed competent by the company, maintaining the brand's standards. The franchisee bears the responsibility of finding and providing a suitable replacement manager if the initial candidate does not meet B Bops's qualifications. This requirement underscores the importance of careful selection and preparation of the management team.

B Bops also retains the discretion to extend the standard training period for either the franchisee or their proposed manager if they believe additional training is necessary for satisfactory completion of the course. This flexibility allows B Bops to tailor the training to individual needs, further ensuring that all managers are adequately prepared to uphold the brand's operational standards. The cost of compensation, travel, and lodging for the manager during training is the responsibility of the franchisee.
