What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to B Bops's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is responsible for securing a site for the Franchise Premises. However, the site must receive written approval from B Bops, confirming its suitability for a B-Bop's Restaurant. This approval process ensures that the location aligns with the brand's standards and potential for success.
Regarding relocation, if a franchisee is unable to maintain possession of their current site or if both parties agree to relocate, the franchisee must secure an alternative site. This new site also requires approval from B Bops and must be developed according to the company's current standards and specifications.
B Bops is entitled to assess a reasonable charge to the franchisee for assisting in relocation, but this charge cannot exceed $2,000. This fee covers B Bops's expenses related to assisting in the relocation process and is in addition to any renewal fees. This process ensures that any new location meets B Bops's requirements while providing support to the franchisee during the transition.
