What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to B Bops's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, B Bops retains the right to adopt additional marks and symbols for franchisee use within its licensed system. This means that B Bops, at its discretion, can introduce new logos, trademarks, or other symbols that franchisees will be required to use. The registration of these additional marks or symbols is also at the discretion of B Bops.

B Bops also has the right to require franchisees to discontinue or modify the use of any licensed marks. If B Bops provides written notice, franchisees must comply within ninety (90) days. This modification or discontinuation does not grant the franchisee any termination or other rights. Any reimbursement for expenses incurred due to these changes is at B Bops's sole discretion.

This clause gives B Bops significant control over the brand's image and marketing. While the introduction of new marks could potentially benefit franchisees by modernizing the brand or attracting new customers, it also carries the risk of unexpected costs and operational adjustments. Franchisees should be aware that they may need to invest in new signage, marketing materials, or other items to comply with B Bops's decisions regarding the licensed marks. It is important for prospective franchisees to consider the potential financial and operational impact of these changes and to discuss these concerns with existing franchisees during their due diligence.
