What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to B Bops's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the company formulates its specifications based on the experience of its affiliate, B-Bop's, in establishing and operating ten B-Bop's Restaurants. Any modifications to these specifications will be based on B-Bop's continuing experience and its own experience in franchising B-Bop's Restaurants.

For a prospective franchisee, this means that the construction specifications for materials, equipment, fixtures, and signage are derived from the practical experience gained from the existing B Bops restaurants. These specifications are detailed in the company's construction specifications, which will be provided to franchisees after the Franchise Agreement is executed and the initial franchise fee is paid. The Operations Manual, provided before the initial training course, contains specifications relating to inventories of food and beverage items, ingredients, supplies, and other operational necessities.

It's important to note that B Bops may modify these specifications over time, distributing updates through the Operations Manual or via written reports or memoranda. While franchisees can generally purchase items meeting the company's specifications from any source, there are exceptions for employee uniforms and items bearing the B-Bop's logo, which must be purchased from approved suppliers. This ensures uniformity and quality control across all B Bops franchise locations.
