What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Azal Coffee's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Azal Coffee has the right to charge franchisees for additional training under certain circumstances. The standard additional training fee is currently $250 per trainer per day, plus reimbursement for travel, room, and board expenses.
Azal Coffee may require a franchisee to pay these additional training fees if the franchisee requests to have additional people attend the initial training program. These fees may also be charged if the franchisee requests additional training or if Azal Coffee requires the franchisee to undergo additional training.
In addition to additional training fees, Azal Coffee also charges fees for rescheduling and cancellation of training. If a franchisee is not ready to open their Azal Coffee location and opening training has to be rescheduled, the franchisee will pay Azal Coffee's expenses for rescheduling. These expenses may include cancellation fees, travel and living expenses incurred by Azal Coffee and its employees and agents, and the wages due to them.
