What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Azal Coffee's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, as part of the franchise agreement, the franchisee must acknowledge that they have reviewed the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD). Specifically, the franchisee acknowledges they have made an independent investigation of the business, reviewed the FDD, and have been given ample time and opportunity to consult with advisors.
This acknowledgement is part of a broader clause where the franchisee confirms they understand the franchise agreement, its attachments, and related documents. They also confirm they've had the chance to ask questions and review materials about the Azal Coffee franchise.
This requirement is a standard practice in franchising, intended to ensure that franchisees enter the agreement with a clear understanding of the business and their obligations. It also serves to protect Azal Coffee from potential future claims that the franchisee was not properly informed before signing the agreement. The franchisee also acknowledges that they are making the decision to enter into the agreement without any influence from Azal Coffee.
Prospective franchisees should carefully review the FDD and related documents, seek advice from legal and financial professionals, and ensure they fully understand the terms before signing the franchise agreement. This acknowledgement underscores the importance of due diligence in the franchise investment process.
