What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Azal Coffee's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee sending a notice under the Franchise Agreement must provide that notice in writing, signed by the party serving the notice. The notice must be sent via registered or certified mail, return receipt requested, with postage pre-paid. In this case, the notice will be complete two days after mailing. Alternatively, the franchisee can use overnight courier service, in which case the notice is complete one day after delivery to the courier.

The notice must be sent to the appropriate address. If the franchisee is sending notice to Azal Coffee, the address is Durar Investment, LLC, 15010 W. Warren, Suite 113 Dearborn, Michigan 48126. If Azal Coffee is sending a notice to the franchisee, it will be sent to the address listed in Item 5 of Appendix A of the Franchise Agreement.

It is important for prospective Azal Coffee franchisees to understand these requirements for providing notice, as failure to adhere to these guidelines could impact the validity of the notice. Franchisees should ensure they have the correct address for sending notices and understand the implications of using mail versus overnight courier service. Consulting with a legal professional is advisable to ensure full compliance with the notification requirements outlined in the Franchise Agreement.
