You must operate the Franchise Business under the Franchise Marks and you must not use any other name or mark in connection with the Franchise Business without our prior written consent. You must not use the Intellectual Property in connection with any products or services not specifically authorized by us in writing. You must not reproduce or cause to be reproduced any Franchise Marks in any manner, including reproduction on forms or invoices, in connection with advertising, marketing or promotion, or on the Internet or in an Internet domain name, in connection with a website, or in connection with any Digital Marketing, without our prior written consent. What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Azal Coffee's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must register to do business under the assumed name of "Azal Coffee" followed by an additional designation. This designation is determined by Azal Coffee to differentiate the assumed name from other stores. For example, the FDD specifies that a franchisee might register as "Azal Coffee of Dearborn".

This requirement ensures that all Azal Coffee locations operate under a consistent brand name while allowing for local differentiation. The additional designation helps customers distinguish between different locations, especially in areas with multiple Azal Coffee franchises. This also helps Azal Coffee maintain a consistent brand identity while accommodating the unique characteristics of each franchise location.

Failure to comply with this requirement could result in a breach of the franchise agreement. Prospective franchisees should confirm the specific designation required for their location with Azal Coffee during the franchise approval process. This will ensure they meet all legal and branding requirements from the outset.
