What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Azal Coffee's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Azal Coffee has the authority to delete or revoke the designation of an Approved Supplier. If Azal Coffee decides to remove an Approved Supplier, franchisees must immediately stop purchasing products and services from that supplier upon receiving written notice from Azal Coffee.
This policy allows Azal Coffee to maintain quality control and uniformity across all franchise locations. It also enables Azal Coffee to respond quickly to any issues with a supplier, such as quality problems or failure to meet standards. This ensures that franchisees are using suppliers that meet Azal Coffee's requirements.
For a prospective Azal Coffee franchisee, this means they must be prepared to switch suppliers if Azal Coffee revokes the approval of a current supplier. While this could potentially disrupt supply chains, it also protects the franchisee by ensuring they are only using suppliers approved by Azal Coffee. Franchisees should stay informed of any changes to the Approved Supplier list to maintain compliance and avoid any disruptions to their business operations.
Azal Coffee also reserves the right to limit the total number of Approved Suppliers for any items to take advantage of group purchasing power and ensure uniformity and quality. If Azal Coffee adds a Designated or Approved Supplier, franchisees must immediately take the steps necessary to comply with the credit, purchase, and other policies of the Designated or Approved Supplier upon receiving written notice from Azal Coffee.
