What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Azal Coffee's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, if an advertising cooperative is formed in a designated Advertising Area that includes a franchisee's Azal Coffee Business, Azal Coffee may require contributions to that cooperative to be paid via electronic funds transfer.
This means that if Azal Coffee designates an Advertising Area and requires franchisees within that area to participate in an advertising cooperative, the franchise agreement can stipulate that your contributions to the cooperative must be paid through electronic funds transfer, either directly to Azal Coffee or to the advertising cooperative itself. This gives Azal Coffee control over the payment method for advertising cooperative contributions within these designated areas.
As a prospective franchisee, it's important to understand whether your location is likely to fall within a designated Advertising Area and what the typical contribution amounts are. You should also clarify with Azal Coffee the specific procedures for electronic funds transfers, including the frequency of payments and the bank accounts involved. Understanding these details will help you manage your finances and ensure compliance with the franchise agreement.
