What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Azal Coffee's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, on-site training is not provided upon renewal of the franchise agreement. While Azal Coffee does provide an initial training program to train new franchisees to operate the store, this obligation does not apply when a franchisee renews their agreement. Similarly, the provision of representatives for up to 5 days surrounding the store opening to assist in the initial operation of the franchise business also does not apply on renewal.

This means that franchisees should not expect to receive the same level of support and training they received when first opening their Azal Coffee location when they renew their franchise agreement. The FDD specifies that these initial support services are designed to help new franchisees get their business up and running smoothly, but are not intended to be ongoing or repeated upon renewal.

Prospective franchisees should consider the implications of this policy when evaluating the Azal Coffee franchise opportunity. While the initial training and on-site support can be valuable for new business owners, franchisees should be prepared to operate their business independently after the initial term and should not rely on receiving the same level of support upon renewal.
