What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Azal Coffee's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the EFT Authorization may be executed in counterparts, meaning separate copies of the same document can be signed. These signature pages can be exchanged via electronic mail, including PDF format, or through any electronic signature method that complies with the U.S. federal ESIGN Act of 2000, such as DocuSign.

This means a franchisee does not necessarily need to physically sign and mail the authorization. Instead, they can use widely accepted digital methods to complete the process, offering convenience and speed. Azal Coffee considers copies of executed counterparts transmitted by such electronic transmission service as original executed counterparts for purposes of this EFT Authorization.

This flexibility in signing and exchanging documents can streamline the initial setup process for new Azal Coffee franchisees, reducing administrative delays and allowing them to focus on launching their business. It also reflects a modern approach to document management, aligning with current technological standards and practices.
