What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Azal Coffee's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, if you are unable to secure a site for your franchise within the initial 3-month period from the date of the Franchise Agreement, you have the option to request a one-time extension. This extension allows you an additional 3 months to find a suitable location.

To obtain this extension, you must notify Azal Coffee in writing of your intent to extend the deadline at least 30 days before the original 3-month period expires. Additionally, you are required to pay a nonrefundable fee of $5,000 to Azal Coffee for the extension.

It is important to note that Azal Coffee permits only one 3-month extension. If a site is not secured within this extended timeframe, Azal Coffee retains the right to terminate the Franchise Agreement. This policy underscores the importance of diligent site selection and the potential financial implications of delays in securing a location.
