What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Azal Coffee's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the timing of renewal fee payments is determined by the specific terms outlined in the Franchise Agreement or as otherwise specified by Azal Coffee. Franchisees are required to make payments for various fees, including renewal fees, via electronic or similar funds transfer from their bank account to Azal Coffee's designated accounts. These payments must be made at the times specified in the Franchise Agreement or as otherwise directed by Azal Coffee.
Azal Coffee retains the right to specify the method and timing of these payments, potentially requiring electronic fund transfers initiated by them. Franchisees must authorize these fund transfers and agree not to terminate the authorization or close their bank account without prior written notice to Azal Coffee. Additionally, Azal Coffee may require franchisees to make payments daily, weekly, or at other intervals instead of monthly, and this requirement may differ among franchisees.
This means that prospective Azal Coffee franchisees need to carefully review their Franchise Agreement to understand the exact schedule and method for paying the renewal fee. They should also be prepared for the possibility that Azal Coffee may change the payment schedule or method during the franchise term. It is important to maintain open communication with Azal Coffee regarding payment requirements to avoid any potential defaults or late charges.
