What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Azal Coffee's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, employees and trainees are subject to confidentiality restrictions both during their training/employment and after it ends. Specifically, Azal Coffee requires that employees not disclose confidential information learned during their time with the company.

The agreement states that these confidentiality restrictions apply while the individual is in training or employed by the company. More importantly, the restrictions continue indefinitely after their training or employment ends, regardless of the reason for termination. This means that former employees and trainees are permanently bound to protect Azal Coffee's confidential information.

This indefinite restriction is a significant point for prospective Azal Coffee franchisees to consider. It ensures the protection of the brand's trade secrets and proprietary information. However, it also places a long-term responsibility on anyone who is trained or employed by Azal Coffee, even after they leave the company. Franchisees should ensure that all employees understand the scope and duration of these confidentiality obligations.
