What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Azal Coffee's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the 'Permits, POS Systems, Safety Protocol' training is conducted in Dearborn, Michigan, or at another location determined by Azal Coffee. This training includes 2 hours of classroom instruction and 2 hours of on-the-job training.
This means that prospective franchisees, or their designated managers, will need to travel to the designated training location to complete this portion of their initial training. Franchisees are responsible for covering their own travel and living expenses while attending the training program.
Azal Coffee also retains the right to modify the training schedule or waive portions of the initial training program if a designated owner or manager has sufficient prior experience or training. However, failure to complete the training program to Azal Coffee's satisfaction can result in termination of the Franchise Agreement or a requirement to complete additional training, which would incur further costs at a rate of $250 per person per day, in addition to travel, lodging, and meal expenses.
