What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Azal Coffee's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Azal Coffee does not charge additional fees for its initial training program. However, franchisees are responsible for covering wages, travel, food, and lodging expenses for themselves and their employees during the training. The FDD specifies that the estimated initial investment table includes a range for these travel and living expenses while training.
Prospective Azal Coffee franchisees should factor in these costs when budgeting for their initial investment. The actual amount will vary depending on the distance traveled and the type of accommodations chosen. The FDD also notes that franchisees may have to pay a fee for attending any certification program required by state or local laws or regulations, but this fee is not payable to Azal Coffee.
It's important for potential franchisees to carefully review the estimated initial investment table and consider all potential expenses, including those related to training. Contacting existing franchisees to inquire about their actual training-related expenses could provide a more realistic estimate. Additionally, franchisees should confirm whether any specific certifications are required in their location and budget accordingly.
