Azal_Coffee Franchise · 2024 FDDAnswer from 2024 FDD Document
Except as described above, we do not have any affiliates that offer franchises in any line of business or that provide products or services to our franchisees. However, we may use one or more of our affiliate businesses to test our franchise system and system improvements and to sell required goods or services to our franchisees.

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Azal Coffee's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the company may use its affiliate businesses to test the franchise system. Specifically, Azal Coffee states that it or its affiliates, whether currently existing or created in the future, may use these businesses to test the franchise system, including improvements, and to sell required goods or services to franchisees.
This is a common practice in franchising, as it allows the franchisor to pilot new products, services, or operational procedures in a controlled environment before implementing them across the entire franchise system. By using affiliate businesses for testing, Azal Coffee can gather valuable data and feedback to refine its offerings and ensure their effectiveness. This can reduce the risk of implementing changes that may not be successful and can help to improve the overall performance of the franchise system.
For a prospective Azal Coffee franchisee, this means that changes to the menu, store layout, or operational procedures could be tested in affiliate-owned locations before being rolled out to franchised locations. While this testing can lead to improvements, franchisees should stay informed about any potential changes and understand how they may impact their business. It is important for franchisees to maintain open communication with Azal Coffee to understand the rationale behind any changes and to provide feedback based on their own experiences.
