What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Aw's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Aw has the authority to require a franchisee to discontinue offering and selling any products and services at their Papa Ray's Pizza Restaurant. This decision is based on Aw's sole discretion, determining that those products and services are no longer part of the Aw system.

This clause in the franchise agreement allows Aw to maintain uniformity and quality control across all Papa Ray's Pizza Restaurant locations. By retaining the right to modify the menu and service offerings, Aw can respond to market trends, introduce new items, or remove underperforming ones. This ensures that all franchisees are aligned with the current brand strategy and customer expectations.

For a prospective franchisee, this means they must be prepared to adapt their offerings based on Aw's decisions. While franchisees can participate in market research programs, the ultimate decision to discontinue a product or service rests solely with Aw. This highlights the importance of a strong relationship with the franchisor and a willingness to implement changes to remain compliant with the franchise agreement.
