What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Aw's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee can only operate their Papa Ray's Pizza restaurant at the specific location approved by Aw. Relocation is not permitted without Aw's prior written approval.

Aw will consider granting permission for relocation if certain conditions are met. These conditions include: the lease for the current premises terminates through no fault of the franchisee, the premises are damaged, condemned, or otherwise rendered unusable, or if both Aw and the franchisee agree that there is a detrimental change in the location's character that significantly impacts the business potential, or the premises are no longer suitable to meet the full business potential of the Papa Ray's Pizza Restaurant.

If Aw approves the relocation, the franchisee is responsible for all relocation costs. Additionally, the franchisee must pay Aw a relocation fee of $500, along with any travel expenses Aw incurs while visiting the proposed new site. This fee covers Aw's expenses for assessing and approving the new location, ensuring it meets their standards and is suitable for the Papa Ray's Pizza Restaurant.
