What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Aw's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Aw has sole discretion in deciding whether to send a representative to a Papa Ray's Pizza Restaurant to provide additional guidance and assistance. This service is provided upon the franchisee's request, but Aw ultimately decides whether to fulfill that request. If Aw does send a representative, it will be for a fee that the franchisee must pay.

Aw may also require this additional guidance and assistance if the franchisee is not operating their Papa Ray's Pizza Restaurant in compliance with the Franchise Agreement. This implies that Aw actively monitors franchisee compliance and can intervene to ensure adherence to the agreed-upon standards.

This discretion allows Aw to control the consistency and quality of its franchise operations. However, it also means that a franchisee's request for support is not guaranteed, and they may have to rely on other resources such as the Operations Manual, approved supplier lists, and phone consultations if Aw denies their request for on-site assistance.
