What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Aw's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Aw has the right to charge tuition fees for supplemental training programs. Aw may offer or require franchisees (or their approved owners) and managers to attend supplemental training, seminars, programs, regional franchise meetings, and/or webinars during the franchise term. These events will be held at times and places designated by Aw.
Aw retains the right to charge a tuition fee for these supplemental programs. In addition to the tuition fee, franchisees are responsible for covering their own and their managers' travel and living expenses associated with attending these supplemental training programs.
This policy is fairly standard in the franchise industry, as franchisors often provide ongoing training to help franchisees stay updated on best practices and new developments. However, it's important for prospective Aw franchisees to factor in these potential costs when budgeting for their franchise, as these fees and expenses can add up over time.
