What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Aw's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, when a franchisee assigns their telephone numbers, listings, and social media accounts to Rayyan Pizza Franchise, LLC (the Assignee), the Assignee assumes certain responsibilities. Specifically, Rayyan Pizza Franchise, LLC takes on the performance of all terms, covenants, and conditions associated with the telephone company and social media companies related to those assigned items.

This means that Aw, as the Assignee, steps into the shoes of the original franchisee (Assignor) regarding the agreements with the telephone and social media companies. Aw is bound by the same obligations and responsibilities as if they had originally been the entity that established the accounts and services. This transfer ensures that the services continue uninterrupted and that Aw has the legal right to manage and utilize these assets for the Papa Ray's Pizza restaurant.

For a prospective Aw franchisee, this assignment process is important because it clarifies the transfer of essential business tools like phone numbers and social media presence back to Aw upon termination or expiration of the franchise agreement. It also highlights the franchisee's responsibility to facilitate this transfer, ensuring a smooth transition and preventing any disruption to the business's operations. The franchisee essentially agrees to hand over these assets, recognizing Aw's ownership and control over the Papa Ray's Pizza brand and associated resources.
