r Premises on or around the date of the opening of your Papa Ray's Pizza Restaurant to provide on-site assistance and training to you, your Owners, your manager and employees and to assist you in opening your Papa Ray's Pizza Restaurant.

  • 5.3 Supplemental Education. We may from time to time provide, and may require, that you, your Owners and/or managers attend and successfully complete supplemental training, seminars, regional franchise meetings or webinars to be conducted at times and locations designated by us. We may charge a tuition fee for any such training, seminars, meetings or webinars and you will be responsible for all expenses incurred by you, your Owners and/or your managers in attending these programs.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Aw's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Aw may provide supplemental education, such as training, seminars, regional franchise meetings, or webinars, but is not required to do so. If Aw does provide these supplemental programs, they may require franchisees, their owners, and/or managers to attend and successfully complete them. These programs will be conducted at times and locations designated by Aw.

Aw may charge a tuition fee for any supplemental training, seminars, meetings, or webinars. In addition to tuition, franchisees are responsible for all expenses incurred by themselves, their owners, and/or their managers in attending these programs.

The FDD also states that failure to attend and complete any mandatory supplemental education or conference on two or more occasions during any calendar year can be a cause for termination of the franchise agreement.
