In addition to the initial training program described above, we will send one of our representatives to your Papa Ray's Pizza Restaurant for 3 days around the time of opening to provide on-site assistance and additional training to you, any manager and your employees for no additional fee. What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Aw's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, on-site start-up assistance and training is provided to the franchisee, their manager, and employees at the Papa Ray's Pizza Restaurant. This assistance is provided for 3 days around the time the restaurant opens for business. This on-site support is in addition to the initial training program that the franchisee and up to two owners or managers receive prior to opening.
This on-site assistance is a valuable benefit for new franchisees as it provides hands-on support during the critical opening phase. Having a representative from Aw present to guide the team can help ensure a smooth launch and adherence to brand standards. The FDD specifies that this service is provided at no additional fee.
Beyond the initial on-site assistance, Aw may also send a representative to provide additional guidance and assistance for a fee, especially if the restaurant is not operating in compliance with the Franchise Agreement. Furthermore, Aw may offer or require the franchisee (or approved owner) and any manager to attend supplemental training, seminars, programs, regional franchise meetings, and/or webinars during the term of the franchise, potentially incurring tuition fees and travel expenses.
