What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Aw's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, on-site assistance and training is provided to new franchisees and their staff to help them open their Papa Ray's Pizza Restaurant. Specifically, Aw will send a representative to the franchisee's location for three days around the opening date to provide this assistance and training to the franchisee, their owners, manager, and employees.
This on-site support is in addition to the initial training program that Aw requires franchisees to complete prior to opening. The initial training program lasts approximately four weeks and covers the operation of a Papa Ray's Pizza Restaurant. Two owners and managers can attend this initial training at no additional fee. Aw also offers supplemental training, seminars, regional franchise meetings, and webinars from time to time, which franchisees, their owners, and/or managers may be required to attend.
In addition to the initial on-site assistance, Aw also provides ongoing support during the term of the franchise agreement. This operating assistance includes advice and guidance on various aspects of running the Papa Ray's Pizza Restaurant, such as service and product offerings, operating procedures, food preparation, purchasing, advertising, and administrative tasks. This ongoing assistance is provided through the Operations Manual, approved supplier lists, written materials, electronic communication, telephone consultations, and personal consultations at Aw's offices or the franchisee's restaurant. Franchisees can also request additional on-site assistance, but they will be responsible for the then-current daily fee and all expenses incurred by Aw's representative.
