Does Aw provide specifications for purchasing equipment for Papa Ray's Pizza Restaurants?

According to Aw's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Aw does furnish franchisees with specifications for a Papa Ray's Pizza Restaurant, reflecting requirements for interior and exterior design, decoration, fixtures, furniture, layout, equipment, and signs. Aw also provides standards and specifications and a list of approved suppliers for purchasing furniture, fixtures, equipment, computer systems, signs, inventory, materials, and other supplies necessary for a Papa Ray's Pizza Restaurant to begin operations.

Operating assistance may consist of advice and guidance with respect to purchasing approved fixtures, furniture, equipment, signs, inventory products, operating materials, and supplies. This guidance will be furnished in the Operations Manual, lists of approved suppliers, other written materials, electronic communication, consultations by phone, and/or consultations at Aw's office or at the franchisee's Papa Ray's Pizza Restaurant.

The initial cost of purchasing the required POS system, including equipment, is $12,000 to $19,000. Franchisees must also purchase a separate computer from their POS System for use in operating their Papa Ray's Pizza Restaurant, which is estimated to cost $500, including basic software. Franchisees must complete the build-out of the restaurant premises and install all fixtures, furniture, and equipment according to Aw's approved plans and specifications.
