What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Aw's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must provide Aw with copies of signed confidentiality agreements for their managers and employees before those individuals receive training or gain access to confidential information. This requirement ensures that all personnel who have access to Aw's proprietary information are bound by confidentiality agreements, protecting Aw's trade secrets and other sensitive data.
The confidentiality agreements must be in a form approved by Aw. This allows Aw to ensure that the agreements contain adequate protections for their confidential information. The agreement applies to managers and employees who attend Aw's training programs, seminars, or conferences, and/or have access to confidential information.
This policy is in place to protect Aw's confidential information, which includes, but is not limited to, the Operations Manual, training materials, and other proprietary information regarding the Aw system. By requiring signed confidentiality agreements, Aw aims to prevent the unauthorized disclosure or use of its confidential information, which could harm the franchise system. Franchisees should ensure they understand the requirements for these agreements and comply with Aw's policies to avoid potential breaches of the franchise agreement.
