Does Aw prescribe the manner in which the Marks are displayed in operating a Papa Ray's Pizza Restaurant?

You agree to display the Marks prominently and in the manner we prescribe in operating your Papa Ray's Pizza Restaurant, including signs and forms, and in connection with advertising and promotional materials. You also agree to use only notices of trademark or service mark registrations and copyrights as we specify and to obtain any fictitious or assumed name or "doing business as" registrations that are required under applicable law.
11.2 Use, Condition and Appearance of the Premises. You agree that:
- (f) you will place or display at the Premises (interior and exterior) only those signs, emblems, designs, artwork, lettering, logos, and display and advertising materials that we from time to time approve.
To determine whether you and the Papa Ray's Pizza Restaurant are complying with this Agreement, and with the specifications, standards, and operating procedures we prescribe for the operation of Papa Ray's
Pizza Restaurants, and in order to preserve the validity and integrity of the Marks and to ensure that you are properly using the Marks in the operation of your Papa Ray's Pizza Restaurant, we or our agents have the right, at any reasonable time and without advance notice to you, to: (1) enter and inspect the Premises; (2) observe the operations of the Papa Ray's Pizza Restaurant for such consecutive or intermittent periods as we deem necessary; (3) interview employees of the Papa Ray's Pizza Restaurant; (4) interview customers of the Papa Ray's Pizza Restaurant; (5) to select inventory items, products, materials and supplies for testing and evaluation; and (6) inspect and copy any books, records and documents relating to the operation of the Papa Ray's Pizza Restaurant. You agree to fully cooperate with us in connection with any of those inspections, observations and interviews.
You agree to require all employees to maintain a neat and clean appearance, and to wear uniforms meeting our standards and specifications as we may require, for the protection of the Marks and brand .

According to Aw's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Aw does prescribe the manner in which the Marks are displayed at a Papa Ray's Pizza Restaurant. Franchisees must display the Marks prominently, including on signs and forms, and in connection with advertising and promotional materials, as prescribed by Aw. Franchisees must also use only the trademark or service mark registrations and copyrights as specified by Aw.
The agreement specifies that franchisees must place or display only those signs, emblems, designs, artwork, lettering, logos, and display and advertising materials that Aw approves from time to time, both inside and outside the restaurant. Furthermore, franchisees must maintain the condition and appearance of the restaurant, including fixtures, furniture, equipment, and signs, according to Aw's standards.
Aw also has the right to inspect the premises to ensure compliance with the agreement and the proper use of the Marks. This includes observing operations, interviewing employees and customers, and inspecting records. Franchisees are required to cooperate fully with these inspections. Aw also requires franchisees to ensure that their employees maintain a neat and clean appearance and wear uniforms that meet Aw's standards for the protection of the Marks and brand.
