What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Aw's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if Aw sends a notice via email, they must also send a hard copy of the notice by U.S. Mail on the same date the email is sent. This ensures that the franchisee receives the notice through a verifiable method, even if there are email delivery issues.

This requirement adds a layer of formality and legal protection to communications between Aw and its franchisees. By sending both an email and a hard copy via U.S. Mail, Aw reduces the risk of a franchisee claiming they did not receive the notice. This dual-delivery method is more secure than relying solely on electronic communication.

For a prospective Aw franchisee, this means understanding that important notices from Aw will arrive through both digital and physical channels. Franchisees should ensure that Aw always has their current and correct mailing address to avoid missing critical communications. This policy highlights the importance of maintaining accurate records and open communication with the franchisor to stay informed and compliant with the franchise agreement.
