You can sell to any customers who come to your Papa Ray's Pizza Restaurant. You cannot provide delivery service or catering services to any location outside of your Protected Area unless you obtain our prior written consent to do so, and in no event will you be permitted to do so in the protected area granted to another Papa Ray's Pizza franchisee. You cannot conduct targeted marketing to promote your Papa Ray's Pizza Restaurant within the protected area granted to another Papa Ray's Pizza franchisee.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Aw's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee can sell to any customers who come to their Papa Ray's Pizza Restaurant. However, there are restrictions on providing delivery or catering services outside of the franchisee's protected area. A franchisee needs prior written consent from Aw to provide these services outside their protected area, and they cannot provide these services within another franchisee's protected area.
Aw franchisees are also restricted from engaging in wholesale sales or distribution of any product offered for sale through the Papa Ray's Pizza Restaurant. This means they cannot sell products to a third party for resale or further distribution. Additionally, franchisees are prohibited from selling products through any Alternative Distribution Channels, such as supermarkets, mail order systems, or the Internet.
Franchisees are also restricted from conducting targeted marketing within the protected area of another Papa Ray's Pizza franchisee. Targeted marketing includes advertising and promotion restricted to an address, such as direct mailings and telephone solicitation. This restriction aims to prevent confusion among franchisees soliciting the same customers.
