Aw Franchise · 2025 FDD

Answer from 2025 FDD Document

This Agreement has been written in an informal style in order to make it more easily readable and to be sure that you become thoroughly familiar with all of the important rights and obligations the Agreement covers before you sign it. In this Agreement, we refer to Rayyan Pizza Franchise LLC as "we", "us" or the "Company." We refer to you as "you" or "Franchisee." If you are a corporation, limited liability company or a partnership, you will notice certain provisions that are applicable to your shareholders, members or partners on whose business skill, financial capability and personal character we are relying in entering into this Agreement. Those individuals will be referred to in this Agreement as "Owners."

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Aw's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the terms 'you' or 'Franchisee' in the franchise agreement refer to the person or entity granted the franchise to operate a Papa Ray's Pizza Restaurant. If the franchisee is a corporation, limited liability company, or partnership, certain provisions apply to the shareholders, members, or partners, who are then referred to as 'Owners'.

This means that all obligations and responsibilities outlined in the franchise agreement apply directly to the franchisee. If the franchisee is a business entity, the 'Owners' (shareholders, members, or partners) may also have specific obligations, particularly concerning their business skills, financial capabilities, and personal character, as Aw relies on these factors when granting the franchise.

Prospective Aw franchisees should carefully review the sections of the franchise agreement that pertain to 'you' or 'Franchisee' to fully understand their obligations. If operating as a business entity, they should also understand the implications for the 'Owners' of the entity. Understanding these definitions is crucial for adhering to the terms of the agreement and maintaining a good standing with Aw.
