- Furnish you with guidance and assistance in the operation of your Papa Ray's Pizza Restaurant as we deem appropriate. Operating assistance may consist of advice and guidance with respect to: sale of products and provision of services; specifications, standards and operating procedures used in Papa Ray's Pizza Restaurants; food preparation and presentation methods; purchasing approved fixtures, furniture, equipment, signs, inventory products, operating materials and supplies; advertising and promotional programs; administrative, bookkeeping, accounting, sales and general operating procedures; and employee training programs. This guidance will be furnished in the Operations Manual (defined below), lists of approved suppliers, other written materials, electronic communication, consultations by phone and/or consultations at our office or at your Papa Ray's Pizza Restaurant. - Upon your request and at our sole discretion, we will send a representative to your Papa Ray's Pizza Restaurant to provide additional guidance and assistance for a fee. We may require this additional guidance and assistance if you are not operating your Papa Ray's Pizza Restaurant in compliance with the Franchise Agreement. (Franchise Agreement, Section 6.1)

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Aw's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Aw will provide guidance and assistance in the operation of your Papa Ray's Pizza Restaurant as they deem appropriate. This operating assistance may include advice and guidance regarding the sale of products and provision of services, specifications, standards and operating procedures used in Papa Ray's Pizza Restaurants, food preparation and presentation methods, purchasing approved fixtures, furniture, equipment, signs, inventory products, operating materials and supplies, advertising and promotional programs, administrative, bookkeeping, accounting, sales and general operating procedures, and employee training programs.
This guidance will be furnished to Papa Ray's Pizza franchisees through several channels. These include the Operations Manual, which contains mandatory and suggested specifications, standards, and operating procedures. Franchisees will also receive guidance through lists of approved suppliers, other written materials, electronic communication, consultations by phone, and consultations at Aw's office or at the franchisee's Papa Ray's Pizza Restaurant.
Aw may also send a representative to the franchisee's Papa Ray's Pizza Restaurant to provide additional guidance and assistance for a fee, upon the franchisee's request and at Aw's sole discretion. Aw may require this additional guidance and assistance if the franchisee is not operating their Papa Ray's Pizza Restaurant in compliance with the Franchise Agreement.
